The Women of Grace
WELCA LogoThe Women of Grace is a gathering of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America/Virginia Synod, whose mission is: to provide a variety of learning experiences which stregthen each woman as a whole person, develop her potential, and equip her for ministry;to enable each woman to value herself and others as created in God's image and redeemed through Christ; to enable women to articulate and act upon their faith as disciples of Christ in all arenas of life.

The Women of Grace meet the first Tuesday of each month for Bible study, fellowship and mutual support. The group meets at 10:30 am at the church

Primetimers
This is an informal ecumenical outreach program of Grace Church for seniors of the congregation and the community. Grace Primetimers usually meet for a breakfast program on the 1st Tuesday of the month with a speaker or other program. Health consultations and blood pressure checks by the Parish Health Nurses are normally available at the meetings.
About 165 different people now participate with attendance ranging from 65-90 per event. All members or friends of Grace are welcomed to attend. Participants are also from neighboring Lutheran and other local congregations.
The group takes several bus trips each year.Grace Primetimer community service projects during the year, include monthly donations of canned food for the C-CAP Food Bank and volunteer support for Habitat House, the Free Medical Clinic, Motheread-Fatheread, Salvation Army Christmas Stockings and the Evans Home.

Sunday Morning Coffee Fellowship
Each Sunday morning at 9:30 am we gather in Eisenberg Hall for fellowship.  Members enjoy checking in with one another and having a sip of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate.

Dinner and A Movie
This fellowship event is sponsored by Christian Education and all who attend have a great time.  Popular movies are shown with dinner and conversation afterward.  We usually try to show a childrens movie along with another movie for the adults.  Many attend and we invite you to be one of them.
