Sunday School is offered for all age groups (age 2 through adult) and for varied interest groups. Sunday school is held every Sunday morning beginning at 9:45 a.m. New adult education opportunities are offered on a quarterly basis.
First Communion classes assist parents in fulfilling their baptismal promises and help their child in deeper identity as a baptised child of God through participation in the sacrament of Holy Communion.
Catechism and Confirmation--Affirmation of Baptism
At the center of our Confirmation Ministry is involvement in congregational life, which, inturn, is centered on Christ. We expect confirmation students to establish and maintain a pattern of regular worship and participation in Holy Communion. Students are also given the opportunity to experience hands-on learning events and a week-long Confirmation Camp studying the "Life of Jesus". They and their families are also asked to contribute four hours of community service that they plan together as a family. Confirmation marks a new stage in life's journey for these students as they continue to grow in their faith.
New Members Classes
For those who want to become members of Grace or those who want a refresher course, we offer a class we trust will help us better understand what it means to be a Lutheran, and what it means to be a member of Grace. This class meets twice a year spring and fall.
Vacation Bible School
Every year Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church and Christ Espiscopal Church join together to sponsor Vacation Bible School for the children in their congregations and the downtown community. More than 250 children during that week. Every nook and cranny is filled with joy and laughter.

Vacation Bible School could not occur without the support of over 120 adults and youth. Volunteers from both congregations are needed, not only to teach, but to prepare snacks, help with crafts and music. This year VBS is July 12 -16, 2010.
The L.S.G. Miller Library contains books, periodicals, and audio-visual materials for adults and children.
