Youth of Grace

The Youth Ministry Program at Grace is a partnership in service of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, including youth, pastors, staff, parents and congregation, through the work of the Youth Ministry Committee. 

Servant Camps

Is for our Senior High Youth (rising 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and graduates) in the Northern Valley Conference.  This camp is offered every third year, the cycle being National Youth Gathering, Youth Beach Trip, and Servant Camp.  During this camp experience youth are asked to remember those in need.  Each youth will expereince and learn what it means to be a servant and what they can do about it.  We worship together, have lots of fun together, and explore how God calls each of us to be his servants.  The next Servant Camp is schedule for 2008.

Fellowship Trips

Our Youth group does have a great time together!  Snow Tubing at Bryce, Kings Dominion, Kure Beach North Carolina, Busch Gardens/Water Country Williamsburg, Dairy Queen and the Pumpkin Patch, afternoon's at the movies, Scavengar Hunts, Bicycle Rides, Go Carting, along with lot's of games and lot's of food always insures a great time.

Service Projects

Our youth is very involved in the community and the congregation of Grace.  We host a First Night Winchester Hot Chocolate/Hot Cider Stand Free to the community (donations are accepted that are put toward youth ministry).  We host a Easter Brunch and a Pancake Brunch for the congregation.  They also offer Apple Blossom Seats for the Community.  Our Youth assist with children's ministry for the congregation.  They clean the church and also help with the set-up of a multi use facility.  Our youth have a long time relation with the Frederick County Social Service Department.  In October each year we adopt 5 - 6 families and provide Christmas for each of them.  Then to recongize the work of the employee's of the Social Service Department our college students provide a thankyou lunch for them the week of Christmas.  As you can see SERVICE is an important word to our YOUTH!
